Home - Cairo

On arrival to Cairo Airport, a representative from Soliman Travel’s Cairo Office will meet you before immigration control to assist with airport formalities. Private transfer to your hotel for a 2 night stay.

Pyramids of Giza & Sakkara

Start your holiday by delving straight into the Ancient Pharaonic World. Full day private guided tour to visit to the spectacular Pyramids of Giza, the legendary Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Drive further south to Memphis to visit the Step Pyramid of Sakkara.

Optional evening tour: Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza.

Cairo - Alexandria

Alexandria city tour

Early morning land transfer north to Alexandria, Egypt’s second largest city, for a 1 night stay. Afternoon private guided tour to Pompey's Pillar (now one of the few remaining relics of ancient Alexandria) and the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa (dating back to the Roman period). Then on to the Qaitbay Fort, which stands on the site of the ancient Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. End with a visit to the recently discovered Roman Odeon, the only Roman open-air theatre in Egypt.

Alexandria - Siwa

Private land transfer along the Mediterranean coastal road to the magical Siwa Oasis in the Western Desert for a 3 night stay. Legend has it that Alexander the Great once received confirmation of his right t rule over Egypt by the divine oracle in Siwa, Egypt’s most remote Oasis. The heart of the 2400 km-squared oasis was once the fortress-like ancient town of Shali. The view from its highest point across the claw houses to the glittering lakes on the horizon is breathtakingly stunning.

Full day private land transfer back to Cairo for a 2 night stay.

Cairo city tour

A full-day private guided tour exploring this wonderful city of contrasts, where the ancient world sits comfortably with the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Start the day wondering through the innumerable ancient artefacts and treasures housed at Egyptian Museum, on the famous Tahrir Square. Continue the day exploring Old Coptic Christian Cairo including the Hanging Church (built high on top of the Old Roman Babylon Fort) and Abu Serga Church, then visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue in the Old Jewish Quarter, followed by the 12th-Century Citadel of Salah El Din and the Mohamed Ali Mosque. Finish the day, exploring one of the world’s oldest markets and the largest one in the Middle East, the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Cairo - Abu Simbel - Aswan 

Visit Abu Simbel Temples

Early morning flight down south to the legendary World Heritage sites at Abu Simbel. There, discover the magnificent twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari, carved out of solid rock around 1250 BC. Truly, a sight to behold!

After exploring the temples, fly onward to Aswan for a 1 night stay. Afternoon at leisure, during which you may visit the Botanical Garden or Nubian Museum and villages to experience the local culture. Or, take the opportunity to see the spectacular Sound & Light Show at the great Philae Temple on Agilika Island.

3 nights Nile Cruise: Aswan - Luxor 

After breakfast, private transfer to your Nile Cruise for 3 nights sail on a full board basis.

Please note the cruise’s itinerary may change due to circumstances beyond our control, depending on the Nile’s water level and lock itineraries. Each day’s itinerary will be confirmed on-board the evening before. 

Visit Aswan

Visit the High Dam at Lake Nasser and the Unfinished Obelisk. Afternoon sail by Felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailboat around the islands and cataracts of the Nile, with a view of Agha Khan Mausoleum.

Kom Ombo & Edfu

After a leisurely sail, visit the Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Gods Sobek and Hareoeris at Kom Ombo. Continue sailing upstream to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus.

Esna; Luxor & Karnak Temples

Morning sail to the historic and fascinating city of Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock. Upon arrival, disembark to visit the awe-inspiring Luxor and Karnak Temples on the East Bank of the River Nile.

day 13

West Bank (Valley of the Kings) 

Cross the West Bank to visit the monumental statues known as Colossi of Memnon. Continue on to the Thebes Necropolis, Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari of Hatshepsut . Private transfer to your hotel for a 1 night stay.
